Chelsea to have a new manager next season?
Carlo Ancelotti will be appointed Chelsea’s new manager before the start of next season.
Ancelotti has held talks with Roman Abramovich and it is a case of ‘when’ not ‘if’ the 58-year-old will go back to the club where he won the league and cup double.
He has been linked with a return to Paris Saint-Germain but that is understood to be a non-starter.
Ancelotti will replace Antonio Conte who is reaching the end of his Chelsea career after a series of rows over the club’s transfer policy.
Chelsea are not known for having managers for a long period of time, and it looks like Conte could be the next one on the chopping block. Jose Mourinho returned to win the league with Chelsea and it looks like Ancelotti could be the next to do so. Carlo was sacked as manager of Bayern Munich after a 4-0 loss to Ligue 1 leaders PSG.
